Arcade Fire's Third album is nothing less than excellent. This album screams summer , a great variety of songs with staying with a consistent vibe and sound. Arcade Fire is lucky to have such a selection of vocals to allow for very colorful songs. The album is beautifully arranged with upbeat songs and some slower more relaxing songs that keeps the listeners attention at all times. Only a few songs I wasn't a fan of but still a solid album. I discovered this band after they covered the great Nick Drake with his song Cello Song. This album must be listened to from beginning to end in complete darkness. This album takes you on a journey to a place THE WAY OUT there. The books for sure delivered on this album and keep you interested at all times. I found it difficult to listen to at times. All the songs sound similarly annoying and the lead singer's voice failed to really stand out. . A lot of the effects added through out the album fail to add any substance and more often take away from the quality of the songs. There is nothing about this album that makes me want listen to it ever again. Don't Take my word for it though , Check it out yourself.
