Adam Goldberg is best known as an actor in the war epic "Saving Private Ryan" — or perhaps go back a bit farther to his role as a bumbling yet endearing nerd in the generation-defining "Dazed and Confused". Goldberg is a self-proclaimed man of all trades, including a purveyor of fine meats, and most recently a part of the musical venture The Goldberg Sisters.
The Sisters' first video is for the single "Shush", from their premiere self-titled album, set to release in April. The video is a continuous shot of an aggressive, albeit stereotypical ride through the tumuluous streets of Los Angeles in his '89 Caprice. It opens with Goldeberg's girlfriend and features a cameo of violinist Roxanne Daner, according to Spinner. The video has a voyeuristic feel, as if we're just observing the couple on a normal day.
The Goldberg Sisters formed in 2009 following his time in the group Landy with "Eros and Ommisions", a collaboration with an assortment of musicians, including Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips. Snag a free download now of The Goldberg Sisters' "Don't Grow" on the group's website before the album drops, or just follow the group's activites on Twitter. At the site, take a peak into the diverse talents of Goldberg himself, which include rather intimate Polaroid shots. After all he, as he proves with his directorial shorts, acting is not for pansies.
