Only a week ago, we received word from the Beastie Boys simultaneously informing us of the indefinite delay of the long-awaited Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1 and the spring 2011 release of Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2. Today, MCA released a statement explaining that, after much deliberation, the group has discovered that the perfect track list for Pt. 2 includes sixteen of the seventeen songs originally slated for Pt. 1.

"Strange but true, the final sequence for Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 works best with all its songs replaced by the 16 tracks we originally had lined up in pretty much the same order we had them in for Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1. So we've come full circle."

Funny guys, those Beastie Boys. Watch for the album early next year.
