Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino and Wavves’ Nathan Williams have taken their relationship to the next level and recorded a fuzzy duet called “Got Something For You” for Target’s Christmas Gig compilation. The cutesy, bell-heavy (and at least a little innuendo-laced) song sort of sounds like it would be a good fit in a Target commercial, so keep your ears open for that post-Thanksgiving. The holiday album also features songs by Crystal Antlers – “10,000 watts of Christmas cheer!” – Blackalicious, and Bishop Allen. It can be streamed now, and will be available for download on November 28. The Blackalicious song is about freaking out over toys on Christmas morning, and the refrain is, “Is it time yet?” It’s pretty great.

Speaking of Best Coast and Wavves, the pair will be setting out on a month-long North American tour together next January and February. SPIN, who is sponsoring the tour with MTV, announced the dates today.
