You may best know Donald Glover from his role as Troy on "Community", or his stand-up specials, or his charming talk show appearances in support of one of those endeavors. If you don't know him as rapper Childish Gambino, though, you're in for a treat. He dropped his new five-track EP this morning, and you can download it for free at his website. It's pretty solid all-around. He's a nimble and incredibly clever lyricist - not too surprisng given his days as a writer for "30 Rock" and his sketch group Derrick - his production is razor-sharp, and he sings his own hooks, which, for whatever reason, is sort of refreshing.
