Surfer Blood was added to the “3 Day Tropical Rock ‘N’ Roll Vacation” known as the Bruise Cruise Festival this week. The Florida group will be joining the likes of Vivian Girls, Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees, Turbo Fruits, and Ty Segall for the epic Miami-to-Nassau, Bahamas event. The organizers are also putting out a limited edition split 7” series (on Bruise Cruise Records, natch) featuring all the performers, complimentary to passengers upon cruising and for sale soon. The first record will have new songs by Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees.

This whole thing goes down February 25-28 and sounds kind of cool, although in a completely ridiculous way. Would I go out of my way to go on the Bruise Cruise? No. Would I turn down free tickets? Only time will tell…
