Guided By Voices are only playing one sold-out New York City show during their “Classic Line-up” tour, and that’s November 7 at Terminal 5. If you were stuck ticketless and spiteful, and you also have no New Years Eve plans, potential redemption awaits: GBV has scheduled a second NYC show for December 31 at Irving Plaza. The only downside to this potentially incredible event, for me at least, is that tickets cost $72, not including whatever weird Ticketmaster charges will pop up. You can also get in for $75 at the door, but…y’know…it’s a Guided By Voices reunion show on New Years Eve. It’s going to sell out. If you can spare the coin, it will definitely be worth it. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 6 at 10 A.M.
