LCD Soundsystem is adding four more farewell shows after tickets for their final gig April 2 at Madison Square Garden unexpectedly sold out just about instantly on Friday morning. The group will now take the stage at New York's Terminal 5 on March 28, 29, 30, and 31.

James Murphy broke the news this evening via Twitter and a blog post on the LCD website titled "fuck you, scalpers. terminal 5 shows added.", referencing the absurdly jacked-up prices being charged on StubHub by said re-sellers who bought up mass amounts of tickets. The entry is definitely worth a read. In it, he expresses dismay at "shitbag" scalpers who are keeping fans out in the cold while trying to turn an insane profit off the MSG show, addresses conspiracy theories surrounding the lightning fast sale, and says he did some "fist shaking" and feels like Conan.

The Terminal 5 shows will be announced "officially" next week, with tickets going on sale Friday, February 18.
