Now streaming courtesy of the blog Psych Explorations of the Future Heart is the Flaming Lips and Lightning Bolt's collaborative 12" EP. The four-song album runs nearly a half-hour, and is just as psychedelic and damaged a recording as you might expect from a hook-up between the Midwest's biggest freaks and the legendarily loud noise duo. The first two songs are labeled "The Flaming Lips with Lightning Bolt", side B is "Lightning Bolt with The Flaming Lips", and it all seems to be some sort of concept album about getting fucked up and working at NASA.
