The 20th anniversary of the legendary Lollapalooza festival is just around the corner, taking place from August 5-7 in Chicago's Grant Park. The line-up was announced early today, and to say it's "overflowing with huge names and promising young bands alike" would actually be pretty accurate. Scheduled to take the stage that weekend are headliners Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and Muse, as well as Lykke Li, Cee-Lo, Ween, Death From Above 1979, Damian Marley and Nas, Cage the Elephant, Ratatat, Explosions in the Sky, My Morning Jacket, Kid Cudi, Maps & Atlases, Beirut, Sleigh Bells, Tennis, Foster the People, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., The Mountain Goats, Titus Andronicus, Black Lips, Cults, Wye Oak, and Local Natives. Among the many many more performers are friends of Noisevox Smith Westerns, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Best Coast, and Bright Eyes. Check out the full list here. "Early Bird" tickets are long gone, but regular-price weekend passes are still on sale for $215.
