Pop over to The Guardian’s website to watch a video for Mogwai’s “Rano Pano”, the first single from their upcoming LP, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. The clip, directed by digital artist Tom Scholefield, sees two drunk dudes attempting to break a barrier between dimensions with the aid of a cardboard box, a “Star Wars” figurine, and some dancing. Click here to see if they pull it off.

Scholefield says the video was inspired by VHS tapes and is an “homage to boyhood fantasies.” Hardcore is out February 15 in the U.S., care of Sub Pop, and one day earlier in Europe via Mogwai's own Rock Action label.
