Ty Segall returns this Saturday, April 16, to bestow upon us an awesome Record Store Day-exclusive 12" featuring six T. Rex covers. It is titled, quite appropriately, Ty Rex. Gorilla Vs. Bear and Altered Zones have a sampling of it, Segall's very in-the-garage take on the folksy 1970 Rex jam "Fist Heart Might Dawn Dart". It sounds like it could be as old as the original, which is kind of awesome. Listen to it over at GVB, and be sure to grab the record at your local shop this weekend.
