Vivian Girls have announced that their third album and Polyvinyl debut, Share The Joy, is set to arrive April 12. Cassie Ramone and “Kickball” Katy Goodman are joined by new drummer Fiona Campbell for their first full-length since 2009’s Everything Goes Wrong (In The Red). Side projects from Ramone and Goodman – The Babies and La Sera, respectively – have been busy in the Girls’ absence, though, and are both putting out new LPs this month, as well.

The song is a bit cleaner and more relaxed than most of their first two albums, and more directly reminiscent of a classic girl-group pop song. It sort of sounds like it’d be perfect on a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack.
Vivian Girls also have a slew of shows coming up, including a weekend on the open seas during the Bruise Cruise, and a full U.S. tour with Black Lips surrounding Share The Joy's release. Check out the full list of dates here.
