Queens of the Stone Age to Reissue Debut and Tour

It's been too long since we've heard some news from the Queens of the Stone Age camp, but we got a lot of it this week. The hook-heavy group led by guitar great Josh Homme will be reissuing its self-titled 1998 debut on March 7, via Domino and Homme's own Rekords Rekords. It'll be out on CD, a double LP set, or digital download, and can be pre-ordered now from Domino. The album's been fully remastered, and will feature three more songs, "The Bronze" and "These Aren't The Droids You're Looking For" from their 1998 split with Beaver, and "Spiders and Vinegaroons" from the 1997 split with Homme's previous band, Kyuss.

On top of that coolness, QOTSA will be supporting the reissue by playing it in full on a month-long spring tour. Rolling Stone announced today that Queens will kick it off by headlining the magazine's South by Southwest showcase on March 16. Check out all the dates below, as well as the reissue's track list, and a video of QOTSA playing "Avon" with Dave Grohl at Glastonbury in 2002, which is just something that I watch anytime I need cheering up.
