Watch an NYC Elementary School Choir Sing Ariel Pink
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti's "Round and Round" was one of Noisevox's favorite songs of 2010, and it's one of the best on Before Today, but I've often found myself wondering, what would this song sound like if it was sung by a chorus of grade-schoolers? Staten Island's PS 22 Elementary School Choir has come to the rescue with the answer: fantastic. The fifth-grade group, an internet-sensation thanks to their renditions of everything from Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" to MGMT's "Kids", is currently gearing up for a special performance at next month's Academy Awards ceremony. (Maybe they'll be sharing the stage with Trent Rreznor?) Watch the PS 22 Choir's take on "Round and Round" below.
