Nearly a year ago, Noisemakers on Noisevox was sitting on a rooftop in Tribeca with them, and enjoying a memorable sunset performance by them at the South Street Seaport – and even then, Here We Go Magic were contemplating what they would do with their second album.  Certainly their debut was a stunner – how would they follow that up?

The wait, HWGM faithful, ends today with the release of Pigeons. As New Yorkers, we are already sold with that title. And that first single, “Collector”?  It’s the most propulsive thing we’ve heard from the band to date. But of course it’s not about what Noisevox thinks – it’s about what you think. What’s your take on songs like “Hibernation”, “Surprise” and “Bottom Feeder”?  Did Luke Temple and company live up to your expectations.
