Things seem to be going along so smoothly for Brooklyn's Fang Island, as they launch into the bouncy, affable "Sisterly" from their stellar new album Major on what appears to be a TV variety show, circa 1974. But then someone starts to monkey with the proceedings.
A control room saboteur gets thier hands on things and before you know it, backup singers are disappearing, stuffed animals start flying from out of nowhere, and eventually the band itself is riding on some pint-sized nursery room critters. General wackiness ensues. Who's behind all of these shenanigans? Suffice to say that trouble can come in the smallest packages.
Directed by Behn Fannin. Fang Island, who put on one of the more delightful light shows around, will soon hit the road, and here are the dates:
08/13 Tucson, AZ @ Club Congress *!
08/14 Albuquerque, NM @ Launchpad *!
08/18 Volente, TX @ Beachfront Boat Studios
And now for our NV Music Video of the Day, it's Fang Island and "Sisterly."
