Daniel, April and Airick -- the Canadian trio collective known as Phèdre - already regaled us earlier in the year with the eye- and ear-popping "In Decay". Now they're back with one of the danciest offerings on their self-titled debut, released in February, and it's another name of Greek mythological origins: "Aphrodite".

It's Daniel who takes the lead on the song and in the video, donning a druid-like robe while most everyone else is in tribal makeup and furry suits, cutting a rug on the living room floor and generally writing around the real star of the clip, the lovely Lola Pacita Lebayen and what appear to be mahjong tiles. It's one of the great synth-tastic debuts of the year, that Phèdre record, and you should hear it if you haven't already. First though, you should enjopy our NV Music Video of the Day, "Aphrodite" from Phèdre.
