For most of "Longevity", the first proper music video from Yeasayer's new Fragrant World (a series of  video "vignettes" for the songs from the album was created by Yoshi Sodeoka) it appears that all is proceeding as normal, a warm and gauzy performance clip. Anand and Ira lay down the futurist grooves while Chris sings and busts a funky move or two, all in a church studio setting, warm light beaming through the stained glass window.

But this being Yeasayer, for whom things are often not necessarily what they seem, and who are always open to a curve ball or two, throw us one. Without doing an entire spoiler, let's just say director Tim Sacenti has the boys undergo a transformation that appears to compromise their, well, longevity.  Demons in the sanctuary? Could be.
