A lot has happened for Lafayette, Louisiana's Givers since last year's SXSW: a deal with currently-hot Glassnote Records (Phoenix, Mumford and Sons), a tour with kindred spirits Ra Ra Riot, and the completion of the band's first full length, due this spring.  The fivesome with the rousing, Zydeco-tinged sound talks about all that, plus their indelible association with Dave Longstreth and Dirty Projectors, who took Givers on the road in '09 and helped get the ball rolling for this talented bunch. We're lucky they did.
