What a week it was. Jack White delivered a new video for Valentine's Day, and announced plans for a solo tour, ditto Frankie Rose, whose new Interstellar, out next week, has lots of folks excited; Bonnaroo's bill was announced, and names like Radiohead, Black Lips, and tUnE-yArDs are part of it, and a posse of punk and garage bands boarded a Carnival cruise ship (no capsizing, thank you very much) and headed for the Bahamas on the Bruise Cruise 2012. 

All those stories were overshadowed though, by Grammy weekend, partly by big nights for Bon Iver and Skrillex, partly by an even bigger night for Adele, who went six-for-six, but tragically even more by the death, on Grammy eve, of the great Whitney Houston, who this weekend, will be laid to rest.
