    New Das Racist: "Michael Jackson"

    dsrsct

Queens-based rappers Das Racist stormed the scene in 2010, dropping two mixtapes that saw the group moving from the novelty fringe to the center of the independent hip-hop scene. It can still be hard to tell when they're joking on Shut Up, Dude and Sit Down, Man, but that's not likely to make you enjoy them any less. Up next from Victor "Kool A.D." Vazquez, Himanshu "Heems" Suri, and Ashok "Dap" Kondabolu is a full length album, Relax. The LP is out September 13 on Heems' own Greedhead Music and features tracks produced by El-P, Diplo, Patrick Wimberly of Chairlift and Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij. You can stream its banger of a first single, "Michael Jackson", below, and hit up iTunes afterwards to buy it. The crew will be crossing the country with Despot and Danny Brown after the album is released; they still have a few festival dates lined up to close out the summer. Full dates below.
