Matador has announced some new details about Fucked Up's third full-length, David Comes to Life, including the cover and first single, "The Other Shoe". The label says that the eighteen-song, 78-minute "rock opera" will be more melodic than their landmark 2008 album The Chemistry of Common Life. They also call it "an album set to a play", which just sounds like fun.
While Fucked Up's opus doesn't hit the street until June 7, they will be releasing three more singles in the coming weeks to tide you over. According to their website, they are "A Slanted Tone" (April 15), "Ship of Fools" (April 26), and "One More Night" (May 3). You can also download "The Other Shoe" there, after you listen to it below.
