Last year's debut LP from Male Bonding, Nothing Hurts, found the sweet spot between lo-fi, pop-punk, late 80s/early 90s indie rock and turned it up to 10. If "Tame the Sun" is any indication, the London group's second album, Endless Now, has ramped up the punk influence, and maybe even thrown in a hint of britpop for good measure; a bonus: the album was recorded with John Agnello in the same converted upstate New York church where Dinosaur Jr. made Where You Been in 1992. Listen and download the track over at SPIN. Below, you can hear "Bones", a driving track released earlier in the summer. Endless Now is due from Sub Pop on August 30 in the U.S., and a day earlier in the U.K.
