Los Campesinos!, everybody's favorite raucous English indie rock group, has announced the title and release date of their next LP: Hello Sadness (natch) is due November 14 in the U.K. via Wichita and November 15 in North America from Arts & Crafts. It was recorded in Girona, Spain with John Goodmanson, who also produced 2008's We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed and last year's Romance is Boring. The band is already selling pre-order-exclusive bundles on their website; the CD and vinyl packages include a limited edition DVD, a t-shirt, and a CD of Hold On Now, Youngster...-era demos.
According to the typically cheeky blurb on the pre-order site, the album is comprised of "ten songs of love, loss and heartbreak nail-gunned to a back-drop of broken, tangled bodies, creeping, dead-eyed animals, suffocating, looming shadows and World Cup exits." Sounds like a perfect autumn record.
